Gunter is the founder and proprietor of ZIMMERs Solicitors / Rechtsanwälte.

His legal career commenced in 1990 at the firm of solicitors Hemmelrath & Partner in Munich. In 1991, following a grant at King’s College in London, he took his solicitor’s exam. He then worked as a Rechtsanwalt for the firm Huth Dietrich Hahn in Hamburg until he became head of the London office of Beiten Burkhardt Mittl & Wegener in 1993. In 1997 he founded ZIMMERs, having realised that there was a lack of comprehensive representation for German clients in England.

Gunter specialises in the fields of Company, Commercial and Trade Law, as well as Tax, Customs and Transport Law. At the same time he also looks after clients in the sports industry and handles matters of Tenancy, Residential Property and Real Estate Law.
