Rehema Nakirya Ssemyalo is a Partner at ENS Uganda. 

She specialises in corporate equity financings through M&A and private equity in both the private and capital markets. She has handled transactions across the entire investment cycle, from market entry through to exit, across various sectors. She advised on the largest initial public offering in Uganda and on a number of exits on the secondary market.

Rehema also has experience in corporate restructurings, regulation, data protection and privacy and general corporate commercial advisory.

Rehema also has experience in financial markets, advising on repo and derivative transactions. She has advised a number of local and foreign counterparties on the enforceability of the ISDA Master Agreement, the GMRA and GMSLA in Uganda. She was involved in the drafting of the Financial Institutions (Preference and Appraised Book Value) Regulations which provide for the enforceability of netting agreements for Ugandan banks.

Rehema is a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East Africa Law Society.
