Seema specializes in corporate international tax and transfer pricing. She has over two decades of experience advising Fortune 500 multinationals and large Indian business houses on a wide range of global tax and transfer pricing matters.

She has a Bachelor of Commerce and Law from the University of Mumbai and a master’s in business law from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. She is a qualified chartered accountant at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She is a certified Public Policy specialist from the Indian School of Business (ISB). Additionally, she holds an expert certification in ‘AI for lawyers’ from the University of Michigan.

She has worked with Big 4 firms and was seconded to a Big 4 firm’s U.S. transfer pricing practice. She has co-authored several contributions to the transfer pricing compendia and books by leading organisations and authors. Besides her contributions to international tax policy initiatives of the firm, she regularly speaks at global conferences, seminars, and allied international tax university events such as the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the Tax Academy of Singapore, the Pacific Tax Policy Institute, Foundation for International Taxation, the University of Lausanne, and the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She contributes to research papers and columns on myriad international tax and transfer pricing issues, which are mentioned in leading academic publications such as IBFD, Wolters Kluwer, Chambers & Partners, Bloomberg Tax, Lexology, Law Asia, GTDT, ICLG, etc.
