Lawyer from the San Martin de Porres University. He currently works as a lawyer in private practice, partner at Estudio Montezuma Abogados, arbitrator and university professor.

He works as an Arbitrator in Ad Hoc processes and before different Arbitration Centers in Peru such as:
– Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce,
– Arbitration Center of the American Chamber of Commerce AMCHAM- ,
– Administrative Arbitration Directorate of the State Procurement Supervisory Body OSCE,
– Arbitration Center of the Peruvian Chamber of Construction,
– Arbitration Center of the College of Engineers of Peru – Lima;
– Arbitration Court of the Illustrious Bar Association of Lima.

He is also a CIArbMember, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – CIArb- in London and a FellowCIArb candidate. He is a member of the American International Commercial Court AICAC in Delaware, United States of America, and is a member of the list of arbitrators of the Court of Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid.

He has served as a professor at the Faculty of Law of the Technological University of Peru in the chair of Alternative Means of Conflict Resolution MARCs, in the subjects of Arbitration, Conciliation and Negotiation.

He has been a professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Applied Sciences UPC in the courses of Business Law, Civil Procedural Law and Securities, serving as a jury in the Law Degree examination for students of said university.

He is a professor of Civil Procedural Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution – Arbitration at the Faculty of Law of ESAN University and Coach of the Arbitration Team for the International Arbitration Competition organized by the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Rosario in Bogotá.

He is a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Mar del Plata, Argentina, and a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law and Political and Social Sciences of the National University of Colombia for the International School of Law and International Arbitration and Investments.

He is a professor-coach of the Arbitration Team of the Faculty of Law of the National University of Colombia for the international competition Willem C Vis – International Arbitration Moot Vienna.

He is a speaker at the International Arbitration Congress organized annually by the Peruvian Arbitration Institute - IPA - and co-author of the book Comments on the Peruvian Arbitration Law published by the Peruvian Arbitration Institute as well as in other publications and magazines.
