Mr. Eric Suwilanji Silwamba, SC is the Principal Partner and is a vastly experienced Practitioner who has been conferred with rank and dignity of State Counsel with 32 years at the Zambian Bar. He has several years’ experience in both private practice and various public offices.

Mr. Silwamba established Eric Silwamba and Partners of Ndola in 1989. In 1995 Vincent B. Malambo of Mhango and Company and Mr. Silwamba caused the two law firms to merge and operated under the name and style of MALAMBO and SILWAMBA until 2001 when Messrs Eric Silwamba & Company was established. The name of the firm was changed to Messrs Eric Silwamba, Jalasi & Linyama Legal Practitioners.

Since 2001, he has been involved in cases of liquidations and winding-up of various companies, he handled a cross-section of Tax matters for a number of mining companies. In the field of litigation, Mr. Silwamba has had the opportunity of attending to some of the most complex cases with respect to commercial, administrative and constitutional Law; high profile criminal matters; employment law, contractual disputes and general corporate cases.

Mr. Silwamba is a former Minister of Presidential Affairs under President Fredrick Jacob Titus Chiluba. He is also a former Minister of Justice. He also served as a Deputy Minister, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and was Member of Parliament for Ndola Central Constituency for fifteen years.

Mr. Silwamba also served as Government Chief Whip with Cabinet Minister rank in the administration of President Levy Patrick Mwanawasa.
