Aristides F. Ravanos was born in 1975 in Arta and has been living and working in Athens since 1997. He is a lawyer in Athens (member of the Athens Bar Association, AM:38840) and holds the title of accredited Mediator at the Ministry of Justice (he is a member of the Association of Greek Mediators with Registration Number 2248). He has also been a journalist since 1998, a member of the Athens Daily Newspaper Editors' Association (ESIEA) and the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). 

He holds a PhD from the University of Piraeus (Department of Business Organization and Management) in the field of Leadership. He holds two postgraduate degrees, one in the field of Philosophy of Law from the Athens Law School and the other in Business Administration (MBA) from the state-owned Open University of Cyprus. He studied Law and Business Administration as his first degrees. He is also a graduate of a journalism school, the Professional Journalism Laboratory. 

A supporter of lifelong learning, in addition to his law studies (University of Nicosia) and his degree in business administration in Patras (SDOE-TEI), he has attended seven e-learning specialization programs (7-8 months) in finance (investment evaluation and analysis, Banking and International Finance, Behavioral Economics, business administration and internet technologies, etc.) organized by the Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as two others, one from the same institution on the subject of "Communication Crisis Management" and the other from the University of Macedonia Administration, entitled, "Crisis Management and Negotiations".

At the same time, he continuously attends seminars in the field of legal science and mediation for further training (graduate of the Mediation program at the Athens Mediation Training Institute). He has also received further training in Banking Mediation and Sports Mediation. 

Since 1998, he has been working continuously at Vima (from August 2017 to March 2020, he also worked at NEA) and has been a political editor for Vima since 2001, while he has collaborated with the magazines "Parliament and European Parliament" and "Epikaira", the newspaper "Pontiki" (2005-2010) and the news sites "thetoc.gr" (2014-2017) and "newpost" (2013-2017). He also worked as a radio producer at the radio stations "Vima fm" (for seven years from 2010-2017, he had a daily political show and was a political editor in the radio magazine) and "Flash".

He worked alongside Vima as editor-in-chief of a political show (2003-2009) on ERT-1, where he also presented the show "Next Day" every Friday (September 2018-July 2019) and as a commentator on ERT-1 television (August 2018-April 2019). From mid-February 2020 to the end of August 2020, he co-presented the show MEGA SAVVATOKYRAKO, while from September 2020 to the present day he has been a commentator on MEGA shows and writes regularly on in.gr. 

For his journalistic career, in January 2019 he received an honorary distinction from the Athanasios V. Botsis Foundation for the Promotion of Journalism for his objective coverage of political reporting.
