Rasmus Wandall (PhD) is an attorney & CEDR certified & court appointed mediator, with a particular focus on public & criminal law, human rights and transnational law. He is a former General Counsel of the International Association of Prosecutors in the Hague, Chief Advisor to the Director of Public Prosecutions of Denmark. Country experience from 30+ countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. He has extensive legal scholarly authorship in the field of law. Among other places, he has held academic positions at University of Copenhagen, NYU Law School, UC Berkeley, University of Oxford, Addis Ababa University. Currently holds a research fellowship with the University of Lund.

Wandall Law Firm is a small law firm. Our ambition is to be skilled and make a real difference to the people we help. The word "we" should be taken quite literally. Conflict resolution

Our core competence is to resolve disputes and conflicts. The starting point is always the real significance and costs of the conflict for the person or company that contacts us. An optimal solution strategy is developed as early as possible so that the dispute can be resolved through negotiation, mediation or, if necessary, litigation.

Criminal law

I assist people and companies in criminal cases on a daily basis . My assistance ranges from advising people who have received a police report, a charge or an indictment for violating the Criminal Code to ongoing assistance during lengthy court cases. There is almost always a lot at stake. It is absolutely crucial that we work together in close cooperation. These can be cases of money laundering , fraud , theft , violence , cases of manslaughter, and they can be cases about drugs. I prioritize assisting children and young people, also at the Youth Crime Board.

Personal data and legal certainty

Personal data protection (GDPR) is one of my focus areas as a lawyer. I help people gain control over their own personal information, which is shared between authorities and companies. Not infrequently, consent is missing, not infrequently there are errors in personal data, and not infrequently the information is incomplete. This can have serious consequences. The problem is discovered particularly in connection with security clearances and background checks, but also in other contexts.
