Nikolaj Juhl Hansen’s primary work is in the area of ​​corporate/commercial law with a focus on cases with an international aspect. Nikolaj has during his +25 years with Danish and international law firms handled more than 150 cross-border matters.

Nikolaj deals, among other things, with corporate (M&A and investment) transactions, financial transactions and regulatory matters, support for start-up ventures (including within fintech, cleantech and software technology).

Nikolaj has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, which includes both national and international experience, including working for two English law firms (Travers Smith and Eversheds) and a firm with offices in the Nordic and Baltic countries (Magnusson).

Nikolaj is particularly engaged in the tech and food/drinks industry, where he is DreistStorgaard’s contact person for Future Entrepreneurs of Denmark, Go Zebra, Hub for Innovation in Tourism and The Local Danish Food Producers Association as well as others and teaches and advises pro bono in various legislative areas including ESG and greenwashing, foreign direct investment and start-up legal issues.

Nikolaj co-heads DreistStorgaard’s International Desk as well as the Asia Desk where he has advised on for instance Danish-Chinese transactions for +20 years
