Michalis Avraam is the Founder and Managing Director of Michalis Avraam & Partners Ltd.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), with over 25 years’ experience in the accounting and auditing profession in Cyprus and the UK.

Michalis is a licensed statutory auditor and a licensed insolvency practitioner by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), specialising in the provision of business turnarounds, consultancy services, as well as receiver-manager-liquidator services. He is also a qualified mediator with substantial involvement in conflict management, business and financial dispute resolutions.

Michalis is a member of a number of professional associations including the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Conflict Resolution (ACR) and has served on the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency CIPA).

Currently Michalis is the Chairman of the Examinations Committee of the Insolvency Department of the Cyprus Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
